We had a clip competition for episode #6, Jasmine in the Arena. Thank you to everyone who participated! There were so many good ones that I decided to pick two winners, and still struggled to narrow it down.
The first is from

made us laugh, and if this had been a clip competition it would be no contest. That said Good Hang is genuinely very good and you should subscribe.… and then here’s Yglesias today
made a whole post of clips!People sometimes ask me how I can be the One Billion Americans guy and also the advocate of a tedious, hyper-cautious approach to politics. The answer is that ideasshould be interesting.
I’m trying to take some banal ideas — America is good, rivalry with China is important, population size matters for national power — and link them together in a way that is provocative and interesting and that frames a discussion about earnest public policy specifics related to housing, transportation, immigration, the welfare state, a non-doomer approach to climate change, and other things that I care about. Ideally, if your books have persuasive elements, you end up normalizing certain ideas.
Thank you to these folks and to everyone else who participated. This was great fun, and makes me excited for the future of these clipping tools.
In case you missed it, this was a really fun episode, and one of the most popular so far so if you missed it I recommend you check it out. Stay tuned for another exciting one later this week. As always, thank you Cara for the music.
my goldfish attention span immortalized forever in the CB Podcast Clip Competition…..
