A job is a headache that someone doesn’t want to have. If there’s an AI that magically makes designs people will need other people there to set the default even if all they had to do to set the default was to ask. You can extend that principle out, and I think in the future a lot of our jobs will be to make information or just paying attention to stuff to validate people.

This was my immediate thought. A Tier 1 Anthropic Validator.

MILLS asks a SPICY question. And CHRIS gives a SEASONED answer. Natch.

Meanwhile, seems that the very nature of AI re: TECHNOCRACY is to streamline ROI, maybe even eliminate the need for CAPITAL Infusion.

On the other hand, perhaps all this shit is BIBLICAL vis-a-vis DANIEL 12:4 .... 𝑚𝑎𝑛𝑦 𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑟𝑢𝑛 𝑡𝑜 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑓𝑟𝑜, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤𝑙𝑒𝑑𝑔𝑒 𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑏𝑒 𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑒𝑑.

Sidenote: The TURTLE is my TOTEM.

My room is full of turtles in various ways, and this weekend we're taking it to the next level / back to my childhood: we're setting up a turtle aquarium!!!

"At the end of the day I thought I was high but really I was just a tired father." That is a spicey kinda funny and wish an LLM could design an interface where I could throw virtual beads at this video.

I’m sort of enjoying this but I’d love for Mills to give us a slightly cleaned up version of himself: not every other word the f word, no vaping on camera (the children are watching), maybe a shampoo? Too much of a contrast with clean-cut Chris!!!

I really should clean this up, I don't disagree at all. I hope to quit vaping soon; I'll work on cursing; no promises on the hair, though!!!

This was actually a very interesting conversation gents. Thanks for doing it.

What language is this ? Should I be sipping on Sriracha while listening ?

- gotta love a strong character introduction.

Interesting conversation. I sort of see the world of Robots without humanity mattering is just around the corner.

This was so fun to watch and learn a little about you both! Mills, I feel the same way about live music and not drinking! 😄 You do have to really love the music.

Outdoor concerts are now way, way preferable to me, too; but then age is surely a factor here as well: indoor concerts are so often late at night! Fortunately, I'm a jazz guy, and a large share of those involve SITTING, my favorite activity!

Expand full comment

Yes, I used to LOVE my local outdoor venue with a lawn. We didn't ever need to sit. Just drinking, smoking, walking, partying while the music played.

Now I'm going to less shows and spending the extra for seats instead. 😆
