My thoughts lately is that science and reason may be better served by skeptics and writers coalescing elsewhere and relying on word of mouth/social sharing to take the message back to the cesspit that Twitter has become.
This way people can go about their important work abuse free, angst free, and be even more productive than ever.
I see no value in remaining behind to piss into the wind. It achieves nothing and just plain stinks.
Well, it would appear Elon chucked me off my Twitter account 6 months ago & never let me back. So I’d guess he didn’t care for what I’d been tweeting or writing or whatever you’d call it. Very happy on SubStack ... used my Twitter share proceeds to buy a max stake in SubStack....Make me PROUD !!

Lest you think I am not capable, I have been a key programmer in three "million user" software applications in my lifetime— two of which I was the founder, lead programmer and in the last case (CoolPage) the only programmer. It is ridiculous that I still can't find a decent blogging platform after waiting for 10 years. My patience is running out. Cripes, I just want to blog unfettered. So tired of this crap.
P.S. I might at some point use Notes, but don’t offer me an inferior Twitter integration to serve your proprietary motives as if I am your slave. And stop with the pretentious highfalutin BS, nobody with a functioning brain-stem will think that a CENTRALIZED corporation can deliver utopia with any staying power.

Twitter made up my mind for me. They banned me for life 18 months ago. I appealed at the time and got a no, of course I did.
Then Lord Musko took over and made some noises with his mouth that sounded like he would be restoring banned accounts.
So I appealed again. Nothing happened.
I ostensibly was banned for a moderately rude remark.
Notes is now the place to be anyway.
